This year we had our Harvest Festival Service on Friday 30th September and we were so pleased to see many parents, relatives and friends join us in celebrating the Harvest Festival in Waltham St Lawrence Church.

The Harvest Assembly is always a treat! This year each class reminded us of Harvest by focusing on a chosen value: Gratitude, Perseverance/Overcoming Adversity, Teamwork/Collaboration, Patience and Diversity/Global Awareness.  Through singing, dancing, role play, sharing class work and poetry recitation, the children have reminded us all the good things we have in our lives and how we can all share with those who are not so fortunate. The children sang beautifully, spoke with confidence and performed with energy.

A very big thank you goes to our Year 6 children who led our Harvest Service and Revd Charles Mason, our Vicar who closed the Service with special talk, blessing and prayers. We would also like to say many thanks to all families for their support and generosity in donating such a wide variety of non-perishable food. All donations have been sent to the Foodbank in Wokingham.
