In May we enjoyed a talk about a Scottish detective known as The Real Sherlock Holmes, which was fascinating..

On June 21 members enjoyed  a tea. on a lovely afternoon, in Christine Pitt's lovely garden, with our usual quiz.

In July, on a glorious sunny summer day, we had a leisurely and relaxing boat trip up the Thames from Caversham Bridge to  Beale Park from where our coach brought us back to the village.

We meet next on 6th September in The Neville Hall at 2.30, and are  looking forward to a talk by Louise Campbell on how to put the garden to bed for the winter.
