Sunday 4 March in the Neville Hall
A simple meal will be served. No tickets or booking are required*, but we invite you to donate to the charity Open Doors.
A short presentation about their work will take place at the Lunch.
Open Doors is an international ministry serving the persecuted Church worldwide. However, in terms of material assistance they do not support only Christians. They make no distinction on the basis of race, creed, or colour—we are all created in God’s image and all deserve to be loved. In Lebanon in 2016/17 more than 12,000 Syrian and 15,000 Iraqi families, 90% of whom are Muslim, were supported by Open Doors each month with food packages. Other practical help to these refugees includes building community centres, schools, and sewing and IT classrooms, providing nappies and powdered milk, and serving meals.
