Royal Wedding On Friday 12 October

Thames Valley Police is as ever proud to be policing the forthcoming Royal Wedding of Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie of York and Mr Jack Brooksbank on Friday 12 October. The day provides an opportunity for our communities to join in celebration while showcasing Windsor to the world once again.

As with any event of this nature, we anticipate thousands of people visiting the town in the week running up to the wedding and on the day itself.

Planning for the occasion is well underway and our officers are working hard, along with our partner agencies, to minimise the impact on the day to day lives of our local communities. We will endeavour to keep you as informed as possible to enable you to make your own arrangements during this time.

We would like to assure you that local priorities will not be overlooked in the build-up, during and after the wedding day. Should you have any questions or concerns, you can contact the Windsor Central Neighbourhood at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

By working together, we can help to keep our community safe. As a resident, or local business, you play an important role in helping us to gather intelligence. If you see anything unusual or suspicious, please report it to a police officer or community warden.

To find the latest information about security measures, road closures and travel advice, please keep an eye on the Royal Wedding pages at www.thamesvalley.police.uk and www.rbwm.gov.uk.
